Free trial terms
Version trial-v1.0-2026-10 · In effect from 9 October 2026
These terms cover the free trial of Holla. They apply together with the Terms of Service, which prevail except where these terms are more specific. By starting a trial you agree to both.
1. What the trial is
A 7-day free trial of the Service, starting when your account is created. No card is needed to start, nothing is charged during the trial, and nothing is charged when it ends unless you choose a plan. The trial is there so you can try Holla properly, on your own number with your own listings, before paying anything. It is also why our refund and cancellation policy is as strict as it is.
2. Who can start one
- The trial belongs to your account. Anyone signing up for a Holla account can start one, whether you are an individual broker or a brokerage.
- We may decline or withdraw a trial where we reasonably suspect abuse, including repeated sign-ups made to get further free periods. We may change or end the trial offer for future sign-ups at any time. A change never shortens a trial already running.
- Using another person’s identity or registration number to open an account is a material breach of the Terms of Service and grounds for closing every account connected to it straight away.
3. What is included
The trial includes the features of the Elite plan, with up to 150 assistant conversations. A conversation counts once the assistant has replied to a customer in it. Your dashboard shows the allowance and how much of it is left from the first day.
If you use all 150 before the 7 days are up, the assistant stops replying until you choose a plan. Customer messages still arrive in your inbox, so you can see who wrote and answer them yourself.
Trial accounts get the same data protections as paying accounts. The Privacy Notice applies in full, and the Data Processing Agreement you accept at sign-up covers your customers’ data from day one.
4. Asking for more time
If you need longer to decide, the account owner can ask for one 7-day extension from the dashboard, under Plan & billing, during the trial or after it ends. Each account can be extended once. An extension adds time, not conversations, so it is not offered once all 150 have been used.
5. When the trial ends
At the end of day 7, unless you have chosen a plan:
- The assistant stops replying. Customer messages still arrive and appear in your inbox, but Holla sends nothing. Your WhatsApp number keeps working as normal outside Holla.
- Your account is read-only for 30 days. You can sign in, read your conversations and leads, export your data, and choose a plan, which restores the assistant straight away. Settings cannot be changed in this period.
- After those 30 days the account is closed. Personal data is deleted within 90 days, as the Privacy Notice and the Data Processing Agreement describe, except where the law requires us to keep it.
We email the account owner two days before the trial ends, and again when the assistant stops replying.
6. Choosing a plan
You can choose a plan from the dashboard at any time during the trial or the read-only period, billed monthly or annually, with payment handled by Stripe. Your card is charged when you subscribe, not before. The subscription then renews automatically as the Terms of Service and the refund and cancellation policy describe.
7. No other promises
The trial is provided on the same warranty and liability terms as the paid Service under the Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms limits a protection an individual broker has as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited.
